Join HSVMA for an online RAVS Informational Session for Students
Wednesday, September 18, 2019
5 pm PT/8 pm ET
Registration is FREE for members and non-members!
Presented by Dr. Ahne Simonsen, RAVS Surgery Director, and Anne Marie McPartlin, CVT, RAVS Program Coordinator

The Rural Area Veterinary Services (RAVS) program provides access to quality veterinary care for dogs and cats with MASH-style mobile field teaching clinics in geographically remote and socio-economically challenged Native Nations communities. As a service-based learning program, RAVS also provides intensive hands-on experience and mentoring for veterinary and veterinary technician students.

RAVS provides a unique, well rounded experience for all levels of students in areas such as physical exams, anesthesia and surgery. We offer a safe learning environment with strong mentorship and encourage efforts in animal welfare for future veterinary professionals.

Please join RAVS staff members on Wednesday, September 18, for an informational session on the RAVS experience and learn more about volunteer opportunities.

This webinar will be archived and available for future viewing on our website about two weeks after the live session.
